Midlake – Young Bride
This a band I discovered from NPR a couple years back. This track is definitely my favorite. It’s simple, but its so catchy. and yet woodsy and humble. Listen to the intro, it is absolutely nutty. The violin is in a separate time signature/beat. when its just guitar and violin they fit together but you can tell something is not usual about it. then when the drums come in, they don’t fit in at all with the guitar, but fit with the violin part. CRAZY! haha.
